We are all Soldiers of Light when we help to make a better world.

Yes there is darkness attempting to influence the mind of man, both for commercial and spiritual reasons…but these impotent forces are just that, and will only succeed if we grant them life and attention.

What helps us to rise above the confusion, dissonance and noise of a crazy world?  To rise above our fears, self- defeating thoughts and the train-wreak of bad news trying to pull us off course?

Purpose

Knowing and having our true purposes for work and life gives stability.  A renewed stability and focus for those things that matter most to us.  And this leads to greater fulfillment: and when we are fulfilled it is easier to help ourselves and others.

If we can ignore an ignorant and sensational press…and those who seek to degrade all that is good…we will feel more like our true selves and not some counterfeit version that only lives for the moment – buying into mediocrity* because it seems easier to do.

If we can embrace a higher creativity, purpose and reason, we will be embracing the very essence of life.  For real life brings great happiness when it is lived wide-awake and we are able to embrace the beauty all around us.  And when we step beyond that and start to imbue others with that same beauty and purpose, we bring more light to the world.

A Planet Cries Out

Yes, the planet will keep on spinning whatever we do. But it cries out for more life and spiritual sustenance, just as we do.  It wants to survive so it can continue to help us survive. But it’s not just its ecology I speak of here…but the very spirit that moves it and keeps it going.  For the planet exists to serve us, the sentient ones, not a planet of slaves and slave masters. For a world without true freedom can only breed further catastrophe and waste.

Rational man has the purpose of surviving better and longer, and wants more freedom for himself and others, as he knows instinctively this will bring a higher quality of life. But he sometimes lacks the certainty of how to go about creating it.  Well, there is a secret that is hiding in plain sight.

The mind of man can only be free if he reaches for the light of his own truth: for it is this truth that allows him to envision his true purpose, the dream that is him.  And it is those higher purposes that ignite his own personal fire…a force that will see him through all things…because it comes from his higher self.  Our purposes allow us to create a better game so we win more.

For ‘purpose’ stands as a beacon that says who we are and why we’re doing what we are doing.  And what our dearest dreams are.  And it is when we embark on those dreams – that we bring more light to the world.

And in so doing – the darkness fades.
